From Fracture to Strength.

About The Nervous System Literacy Project

Since 1996, we’ve been helping women reclaim their strength, wellness, and resilience. But after decades of listening, one truth became clear: without understanding and regulating the nervous system, real change can’t last.

The Nervous System Literacy Project, Inc. was created to meet that need and to spark a public health movement that makes nervous system literacy as foundational as reading or math.

Our Mission

We exist to advance mental health, emotional well-being, and social empowerment by equipping individuals—beginning with midlife women—with the tools to understand, regulate, and strengthen their nervous systems.

Our Flagship Program: BLOOM

BLOOM is a neuroscience-informed, trauma-aware community designed for women in midlife navigating burnout and identity transitions. Through ritual, reflection, and connection, participants learn emotional regulation practices that restore agency, resilience, and joyful momentum. BLOOM also serves as a living research site for our founder’s PhD in Psychology, building the evidence base for nervous system literacy as a pathway to thriving.

Our Vision

We believe nervous system literacy is the next frontier of public health. By embedding it into communities, education, and leadership, we can create a world where resilience is not a privilege, but a shared foundation.
